HealthPartners Freedom Frequent Fitness Program

Last summer, I experienced a bulging disc in my back. Surgery was recommended and almost scheduled. Thanks to the HealthPartners Freedom plan and benefits offered, I was able to try acupuncture for 12 sessions and then start aerobic swimming classes at the Y. I am free of pain now and believe I can continue to exercise and avoid pain and, ultimately, surgery.

a man enjoys fitness perks through HealthPartnersIf you're a member of HealthPartners® Freedom Plans II or III, you may be able to save money on your membership at a contracted fitness club. Sign up for a monthly membership and enroll in Freedom Frequent Fitness at any participating YMCAs or YWCAspdf. Work out at least eight days per month at these facilities and you'll be reimbursed for your monthly membership dues. It's a great way to get in shape for less!*

*Because this is a reimbursement program, you're required to pay any enrollment fee plus membership dues for the first two months. After that, HealthPartners will pay your monthly dues for months when you work out at least 8 days per month. (If you work out fewer than 8 days per month, you'll be financially responsible for the fitness club dues for that month.) If you switch to a new club system, your timeline will restart and you'll have to pay the first two months again.
